A DNFBP — Designated Non-Financial Business or Profession — is a non-financial business the UAE brings within its AML/CFT rules because of its money-laundering risk. There are five categories: real-estate brokers and agents; dealers in precious metals and stones; independent accountants and auditors; lawyers and notaries for certain transactions; and corporate service providers. If your activity fits, you must register on goAML and run AML compliance.
